How much did you make this year?

http://www.thedailybeast.com/galleries/2011/12/16/america-s-highest-paid-ceos.html

Wow it is amazing that of the top 10, 4 are of the health care industry. Also of the total compensation amount $770 million almost half $370.5 million is earned by these four men. One man John Hammergren, McKesser Corp, Health Care makes a whopping $145.3 million. Unbelievable that in a country where 1 in 2 families goes hungry nightly there is a man making $145.3 million in an industry that has no control in bilking the public. And there are people in this country who claim there is no need for health care reform. Tell that to that one family who is going hungry; hungry because they need to pay for health care and part of the $370.5 million that goes to pay 4 of the top 10 health care executives. This is just the top ten - imagine all the other smaller earners earning a $1million or more...

There was a time when the middle class was proud to be the backbone of America. Today the middle class just continues to have its back broken.

Dick Cheney: Hillary Clinton As President Would Have Made Different U.S.

It is nice to see Mr. Cheney has some sense when it comes to the qualification's and abilities of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Stating that she may be the most competent member of the Obama administration not only leaves one to speculate what a Hillary Clinton Presidency might have been like but also the example she set for a woman to be President. To compare Hillary Clinton to a Michelle Bachman or Sarah Palin would be a joke. Bachman and Palin are cartoon characters compared to Hillary Clinton. The praise Bachman and Palin get should not be because there are no other women in the race for President but should be for competence - and to be President of the United States they couldn't shine Hillary Clinton's shoes; heck looking at Romney, Paul, Huntsman, an yahoo Perry; they can't either..... Thanks Dick for finally speaking sense, maybe now your party will listen to the Black Knight....

Bernanke knows the Great Depression or NOT.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/peter-s-goodman/bernanke-provides-no-relief_b_938287.html

It is amazing that a man whose had spent his academic career studying and becoming an expert on the Great Depression is doing nothing to fix the mess that we continue to plummet into. Again the ones who will absorb the brunt of the damage will be the ever dwindling "middle class", the middle of what is what many of them are worrying about. No jobs, with no jobs no health insurance, high gas prices - while we occupy an oil rich country and the high cost of two wars; money spent and brave lives lost. Money spent monthly on these wars that could solve the problems we are having here. But like all wars fought; I am sure some people higher up is making millions as war profiteers
. If Mr. Bernanke doesn't use the expertise he supposedly has - or at least tries to make the right recommendations - then he will go down as the FED leader who crushed the middle class and whose knowledge was useless.

Bernie Sanders Blasts Democrats, Boehner Debt Ceiling Plan

Once again those who will pay while taking decreases in pay, are the ever dwindling middle class and ever increasing unemployed. While politicians continue to break the backs of the working people, who will carry this country back to greatness: the greedy rich CEOs of companies that may have caused this economic debacle to occur; the same greedy rich CEOs who keep their jobs as their companies fail and lay off many. I truly think not.... Again our leaders - both Democrats and Republicans - have failed us: no jobs, no real health care, no answer to an every growing energy crisis. Maybe we have too many millionaires in Congress and not enough people who "feel the pain."

New Jersey Politician On Chris Christie: 'I Want To Punch Him In His Head'

Christie was that kid in school that got picked on and now that he is a big kid he is giving paybacks to all your knuckleheads in NJ who voted him in. Sure he is tough now - he is not up for reelction for another 2 years. Let's see when he has to court the unions for votes what he will do. This pompous jerk who told a voter "it is none of your business" is wrong; everything he does is the voters of NJ business. His arrogance amazes me, that is until some sort of scandal is uncovered - that is when we will see the real Christie. Follow the money... it may lead to one of his relatives or cronies account.. It always does.
